Hello BP Family,
Has anyone had any success in the short term rental market in Maine? I am looking to close on deal #3 in a week!
My cabin is located in Oxford County close to ski/ snowboard mountains, Fryeburg fair, short ride to North Conway, snow mobile trails on property and countless outdoors activities. I'd love to hear from other investors about their own experience. I am looking to self manage this property, and outsource cleaning, maintenance, and any other unexpected issues. Any input is greatly appreciated.
I have learned so many helpful tips from STR forum already! I can't wait to share what I encounter on my journey.

@Account Closed I'm in the same boat, I currently take care of snow removal because I live at the property. I will be moving very soon.
Could it be possible to include snow removal be handled by tenant if there is separate driveways and not much to shovel or plow?

Ive just reached my one year mark on my first investment property. Now with a full year under my belt I would like to grow my network and become more involved in my area. Would love to get in contact with other real estate investors and wholesalers in Northern RI. Currently looking for the next deal!

Hello everyone,
Looking to move forward on obtaining my second investment property and I would like to hear some opinions. Some background, I purchased my first duplex last year using my first time home buyer 3.5% down with about 25k in equity. I am fortunate enough to have a sum of money left behind from a family member of about 100k. Will I be able to buy the next house with anything less than 20% down, if I use it as a primary residence? My girlfriend still has an option to use her first time home buyers 3.5% down. We are looking to figure out the best way to move forward with real estate investing. Thank you all for your time!

Hello B.P. community!
I am approaching my closing date within the month. Just to give you some background, I am moving into my first investment property in Cumberland, Rhode Island from Massachusetts. I will be living in one of the units, and the other will be rented. It is already occupied and has a signed lease until September. I'm looking for information that could be helpful on my journey moving forward. I would love to hear about previous encounters and just simple things that a newbie may not realize. ANY help is appreciated, Thank you!

Hello all,
I am looking to see if anyone in the area of RI could be of any assistance. I am purchasing my first multi family in Rhode Island, and would need to have it inspected. I am looking for a building inspector that would be able to do a full inspection head to toe. Looking for any direction and or guidance. thank you in advance for your time!
