Quote from @William Roberts:
Florida would be helpful. Especially the panhandle (Okaloosa, Walton, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties). Thank you so much!

As an insurance broker, one of the carriers I write with is steadily. Their bread and butter is dwellings. Early last year they were coming back incredible with pricing but the last 4 or so months have been okayish. TX deductibles are super hard with WH because of all the hail. That's why as a broker I explain every coverage for a customer! We are insurance consulates helping insureds learn about what everything is.

I would ask if your company provides premises only liability coverage. It is the same as an umbrella when it comes to liability coverage and covers you if anything happens but the difference is it only covers the property while umbrella covers auto and property.

Another thing to look at with your current insurance policy is to see if you have actual cash value or replacement cost on the roof. It might not be worth to file your claim under insurance with a actual cash value especially with you saying it collapsed on it own, insurance is not going to value the roof high enough for a good replacement.
