Thank you Rick, I have been looking for things along those lines from the street views that are given on properties but I just wasnt sure if there was a short list of different areas in SA that are generally better to by. I stumbled across a website that had heat maps and rankings for the cities in terms of most desireable so I was just looking to see if some of those would be confirmed by a local as being correct.

I am looking to move back to TX. I was living in San Marcos for a year and loved it but I wasn't in a good spot financially. I moved back to Mass to recoup and build a nest egg. Finances are much better now and I am looking to get my first property in San Antonio. Looking to connect with some locals.

I did see mobile alabama on the list for top 10 cheapest places to live as well. I was considering that area. I need a place that I could start off with in the $100k range ideally.

Thank you for your insight Jennifer. I suppose its always going to be hot down south no matter where you go but someone just has to pick a spot that is good for them. I lived near Austin TX for a year so we had triple digit summers and I was ok with it. Much better than a foot of snow in the winter in my opinion.

thanks for the tip. Ill look into those areas. Usually the humidity is oppressive there and rains all the time. Hurricanes aren't super fun either. Thats just my immediate thoughts on florida. Ive been looking at Little Rock Arkansas area. Seems like it might have what im looking for.

Ya, I figured if I am going to house hack my first property, I might as well get it in a place that is a bit warmer.

Thank you for your insight Will. I want to move to a warmer part of the country too so I feel like the Little Rock area would check off the real estate investing box as well as the quality of life im looking for.
