Section 8 is a pretty underutilized strategy here in Cleveland, there are so many section 8 voucher tenants without homes to go to because not many landlords accept/are approved by section 8.
So assuming your property is already approved by CMHA and your PM is marketing it to section 8 applicants, you should be swimming in applications.
We don’t have all the info!

No, not normal at all. You should be turning away 50+ people for every property. When you post an ad for a Section 8 property in Cleveland the tenant demand looks like this.
so my property manager is telling me that they haven’t been getting any section 8 requests…

Is it normal I’m having so much trouble finding section 8 tenant for my rental properties? We have had multiple potential tenants but none section 8. My property manager said that they posted the home on all sites to attract potential tenants… it’s been posted for 4 months and nothing…
