Quote from @Gene Livingston:
Whats the draw for Airbnbs in WF? Military? I assume Shepherd AFB is still active.
That's part of it. I get a noticable portion of my yearly income from semi-long term (around 6 months) military. There is a lot of transient workers (traveling nurses, oil field, etc) coming through as well. Also people moving here waiting on housing. Grant it I am still brand new to real estate but I feel that if your an investing looking at doing STR's you should be looking at properties that would transition well into long term rentals as well.

Hi,
I have an STR in Wichita Falls, TX that I have been using a family friend for turnover service until recently and I now need to find a more professional service provider. Are there any STR investors in the Wichita Falls, TX area that might have some suggestions for services they currently use or have used in the past and would recommend? I attempted to look through the forums and couldn't find anything for the Wichita Falls area but I'm also new to BiggerPockets.

Hi Mario,
Me and my brother-in-law have a couple of investment properties in Wichita Falls and have made some headway in answer at least some of the questions your asking. Honestly our realtor has been the biggest wealth of information for us. Her name is Ashley McKie with Soaring Realty. We are still brand new to investing; however, we have a couple properties that have been doing well for a couple years now in Wichita Falls. One in long term rental and one is a STR. My parents in law have a successful STR as well. Don't be afraid to reach out if you wanna talk more about what we are doing and how. We are always looking to meet up with people and learn from or share with.
FYI, Ashley is great, she has done some investing herself, she knows the market here very well and is very easy to work with. Tell her I sent you if you reach out.
Post: Finding a CPA and lawyer

Hi everybody,
I have a few family members that would like to combine some investment properties and start a real estate investment/property management company. We are trying to find a CPA and a lawyer to help us with this but we are worried about being able to find a CPA and lawyer that we can trust that not only specializes in this area, but is competent enough to give us good advice about our particular situation. Does anyone have any advice on how to find good help with this or is there anyone in this field looking to help start a family business? For context we currently have 2 single family home properties with the option to manage a 3rd in the Wichita Falls, TX area with the idea to expand to 3 to 5 properties in the next 2 years.
