Douglas Larson haha cracking me up your play on words! I really would like to keep this house in the family. I wanted to use my savings to get started in REI with some smaller buy n hold, but this came up. If it takes renting it out weekly for ten years to make the payment I'd be happy to. To answer your question it's all nestalgia. Rick Harmon I might get a hold of your buddy. See what he says. Thanks

Love the ocean. Not sure I'd want to ask family to finance me. But I'll get the place appraised, talk to rental agency, and see about a loan. I'll repost the numbers. Big thanks for all the info

David Krulac thanks hoping it can work out that way. That's a really big mortgage for me but maybe the rental numbers will work out

I would like to buy this real estate from them. Is it possible I could get a loan from a bank? Looking at the 1/3 equity I would have and the monthly or weekly rental income it could bring in

Hi I have a question is I'd like to throw out there. I'm about 1/3 of a beach house inherited to me. I would like to keep it and the other members of family want to sell. Any ideas on how I can buy them out? I'd say home is worth $2,000,000. It is kind of a duplex. Possibly could rent for $4500 a month. Or $2500 a week I make $150 to $200k/year and have $140k saved. With bad credit. Any ideas?
