Saving money for my first investment is like watching grass grow.
What can I do to ensure that when I do get my first property it puts me in a better position to buy subsequent properties?
I read about people buying multiple properties a year/month, it seems impossible at my current pace.

As for me I think starting out I will manage it myself just to learn what it takes to be a good PM, so when it comes time I can tell the difference between a good and bad PM company. In the future, however, I would like to make it as hands off as possible.
Thank you for the valuable advice!
