Hello all, I am considering buying a house at auction and moving to the Birmingham area, is there anyone out there that could let me know if the 2500 block of 29th St in Ensley is a good area or not? Thank-you
Eric

Hey Adrian, I have been looking as well at some of these cheaper investments, I was first amazed by how cheap you can get a home in Detroit, then I learned a little bit more about Detroit, I am currently interested in both the Birmingham, and the Pittsburgh markets, I have found some amazing deals in both markets sometimes less than $1,000 at auction, and it is easy enough to check the taxes and liens. But on a side note I was born and raised in Olympia/Lacey area and you look very familiar. I am going to take a trip to Pittsburgh area in another month or two, and if it ends up looking promising I will be buying my first home and have my wife put in a transfer to that area, if anyone has info on the Pittsburgh area I would love some input thanks.
