Hi,
Are there any services out there for putting together a distressed/absentee sellers direct mailing list for wholesalers that you would recommend?
Thanks!

Thx for the invite! I wish I could move up the dates but can't this time around.
However I'd love to touch base when I'm out there!
Cheers,
Caleb B.

@Steve Allen Looks like you have extensive experience..what advice would you have based on the convo in this thread?
And..if you're available when I'm in town (5/6-5/17) I'd love to buy you a beer (maybe @Phillip Roessler, myself and you can all coordinate a beer??).
Lastly, I am curious, what systems you lean on to improve deal flow? :)

@Phillip Roessler Nice. Yea, tech experience definitely won't hurt as we transition into RE .. we know how to figure things out pretty quickly! (And we currently have a keg in our office haha)
Its settled. Feel free to shoot me a text/email and we'll have to meet up at a great Boise micro-brew sometime between the 6th and 17th of May! (I think BP publicly displays my contact info..lmk if not)
And yes...Cheers, is my current salutation. haha :P
Cheers!
Caleb

@Phillip Roessler Awesome! Did you relocate to Boise or have you been there for a while? Flipping sounds fun (North End area a good spot for this?)...from an energy standpoint I love the idea of doing something once and seeing perpetual reward for it. But flipping sounds exciting and like it'd be great experience. If you have any deals you're working on I would love to tag along / keep in touch with you through the process as I'm sure it would be a great learning experience. :)
I'd love to buy you a beer when I'm in town in May if you're around. Regardless best wishes in everything you do!
Cheers,
Caleb

@Jonna Weber Thx! Yes, it's nearly impossible to find a cash flowing deal here in Boulder..even then you'd have to compete with all cash investors. Not necessarily the best 'starter' market.
Being a Real Estate Agent...do you happen to know of any BRRRR friendly financiers and do you specialize in single family or multifamily?
Thx again for your reply!

Hey guys!
My wife and I will be relocating to Boise this year (will be out there from May 6th - 17th to do some recon) and I am looking to transition from the tech industry into Real Estate. Specifically, multifamily buy/hold starting with a single 4-plex this year. (Looking at BRRRR friendly financiers as well...but thats a different topic)
In the meantime, I'd love to WORK for a company to build relationships/connections and (while transitioning from the Tech industry) to learn more about the multifamily space and Boise market specifically. I feel like I have a good grasp on things being a fast learner and avid researcher but that cannot be substituted for REAL EXPERIENCE.
At any rate, I'd love any input / advice / references along these lines.
Cheers,
Caleb
