Thanks for the advice on the forums and podcasts! I'll be sure to check them out!

Yes my wife and I did all the work we could. It saved us a lot in the long run but it did eat more time than we would have liked. We are working towards moving away from doing so much work ourselves, but as with anything else it will take time to get there.

Hello all, I am Caleb Longino a new member to the site from Temple, Texas. I own/operate a family owned residential and light commercial contracting business. We are a family run business that has been in construction for over 40 years. We have recently moved our operations from the N.E. Texas region to Central Texas and are looking to expand our operations. We currently are focusing on new construction spec homes and have one rehab in our portfolio that will become a rental. We are looking to expand not only the construction side of our business but also our number of rentals. I had listened to the pod cast for while and decided it was time to join the site. We are always eager to learn new things with real estate and share what knowledge we have. The main reason for joining the site is to try and grow our network of investors to help scale our operations. My wife is currently obtaining her real estate license, so I'm sure we will need guidance down that road as well. I look forward to meeting and hopefully working with everyone!
