I’ve got a single family townhouse long term rental. New tenant says dishwasher not working. It’s not new - at least 8 years old. So I’m thinking it’s better to replace rather than repair. After reading the nightmare stories some of you shared, I’ll not use Lowe’s or HD installation. I’ll have our property manager’s contractor handle this (or do you think I’m better off hiring a plumber?)

What’s your recommendation for a dishwasher brand/model that’s likely to last but not super expensive?

Recommendations for who to buy from? Is HD or Lowe’s ok if I have them deliver but not install? I can have my management company pick it up, but they’ll charge about $90/hour plus add 10% to the purchase price.

We live several states away, so doing it ourselves is not an option.
