@Ali Boone Thank you for the advice! I have read a bit about turnkey services and they seem to promise to provide the tools necessary for new and out-of-state investors (a bit skeptical tbh) I am currently looking to establish relationships with ppl in the markets I’m interested in so I can at least have the “team part” in order for when I’m ready to finally pull the trigger on a deal. Would you recommend going the turnkey route as a first time investor?

@Subbie Kaur Thank you! This really helps me a lot. You’ve given me more things to take into consideration.

Hello BP,

I am new to real estate investing and am currently trying to learn everything I can about rental properties. My goal is to acquire a small multi-family property next year but out of state. I currently reside in California and I have been looking into markets out of state such as Texas and Nevada. Are there any tips or things I should be cautious about when it comes to out-of-state investing?

Thank you, all feedback is greatly appreciated.
