All, If you are new to real estate investing, or have had some difficulties in getting started, I stronger recommend two things. One is to listen to the BiggerPockets podcasts, go back and search through the over 200 episodes that are on iTunes. You will find some are very very relative to the things that you are encountering or have questions on. Two, there is another podcast that I highly recommend. Thanks for the note back.  

Below is a run down of what is required to meet the HUD standards. It's different (my assumption) than a concrete perimeter foundation.

• Installation of Longitudinal stabilizing devices.
• Installation of Galvanized Anchors 5'4" on Center with approved Straps and Beam Clamps.
• Installation of Stabilizer Plates.
• Installation of Mid-line anchors at each end of the home.

From what my agent is explaining, there aren't many companies that can do this type of work.  So I was hoping the Bigger Pockets community may know a contractors qualifications needed to get this done.   (Another lesson in mobile homes........   )

Any you're right - it's a few grand to get this done from what I understand.

Does anyone know what companies do mobile home foundations upgrades in Florida? I'm selling a mobile home that had a foundation inspection and have been told it requires updates in order to meet HUD guidelines

Any recommendations for a company that serves the Tampa Bay area would be great appreciated.
