Thanks Patricia. That is an option as long as I don't have to go to Miami. I am in Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks Ed. Yes that is an option. Placing my license with an Independant Broker seems easier and quicker for now. If I can find one in Broward County!

Christopher Phillips I have had my Brokers Associate license since 1997. In Broward County you MUST join the Board of Realtors if the broker is a member.

I am looking for a NON-MLS broker in Fort Lauderdale to place my brokers license with. My license is currently with a referral company. I want it to be fully active as I begin investing. I would like to start with wholesaling but am uncomfortable with the different views on it's legality in Florida. With an active license and proper disclosures I think I could operate legally. I am also exploring the possibility of opening my own one person brokerage if I can not find a place to put my license. I do not need MLS access at this time, nor the expense of board dues. If anyone has any company suggestions or advice on opening your own one man brokerage as an investor please respond!

THANKS!
