When listening to investors, a common theme is to "always know your exit strategy." Of course this makes sense, but what are other exit strategies besides simply selling the property?

Hello all! What are some other avenues for searching investment properties besides the MLS? Recently looked at a four-plex & then found out that a number of investors were looking at the same property. Looking for a way to search properties with less competition. Thanks guys!
