Thinking of doing a house hacking scenario with a master room rental with access to a private bath. I don’t want to share my living space so would it make sense to install a kitchenette in the room for them to have access to since they won’t have access to the kitchen? I haven’t heard of anyone doing this but I don’t feel comfortable sharing my living room and kitchen with a stranger. house hacking would be the only way I could afford a home in a HCOL area.
