@Dave Carpenter Right now we're looking more at duplexes to hold as rentals, but we also know someone who has had great success renting or flipping single family homes in our area. Down the road we wouldn't mind expanding into some bigger multi-units too.

Hello! My name is Megan Roder and I'm new to the site. I'm 22 years old and work as a financial representative in West Bend, WI. My boyfriend (and colleague) Justin Nothem and I are extremely interested in partnering in real estate and stumbled across Bigger Pockets as a result. It seems like an amazing resource, especially for newbies like us. We're young, we have student loans, our credit isn't great, but we are determined to find a way to get in the game while the getting is good! We're hoping to learn as much as we can and hopefully make some good connections with other people who share our ambition. I'm open to any kind of advice and look forward to learning from each other's experiences!
