I am looking for investment property. Home, condo, or retail, something to get me experienced/in the door with property investing. :oops: I am nervous because it is my will be my first buy, but I want to be smart!

I received some advice to check this site out before just jumping into real estate from a friends husband. I am looking to purchase my first piece of property within the next 6 months to a year. Want to start of small, maybe a forclosure and work my way up. Any advise? Are there any totally free foreclosure listings out there?
