Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been interested in Real estate investing and have been gaining information to move forward. Looking for an active way to invest my money and REI seems to be a great way. I am extremely green to this, I put an offer on a foreclosed Home a month ago, although I didn't get it. I'm looking for the next opportunity in my area as well as advice or mentorship. Very excited to be apart of this community.

Thank you,

Charlie P

Thank James, I'll Definitely check out that book!

I do not have a team yet, I am looking at a property that has my interest on Friday and I'm trying to gather the appropriate questions to ask the real estate agent as far as damage goes and I would like to be able to estimate what kind of rehab costs are going to be needed

Hello everyone, this is my first post as I am new to BiggerPockets. I am looking to jump in and start investing in my first property and looking to flip it. I am new to investing in real estate, and have questions. I am going to be meeting with a real estate agent to look at some distressed properties and want to know if anyone has tips about how to estimate the cost to repair any damages to the property in order to figure out if the property is worth the investment. Thanks
