Found an amazing newly updated penthouse condo in a hip neighborhood that’s actually within my budget. BUT!!! It only has a laundry facility on site, not in the actual condo. No hook-ups, nada. Dealbreaker?

Waylon, if you're still looking to source furniture and you are local to your rental, always check the discount retailers like Ross, TJ Max, Marshalls, At Home, Tuesday Morning, and HomeGoods.  They are great resources for end tables, console tables, small shelving units, benches, dining chairs, side seating, ottomans, pillows, bedding, lamps, artwork, and of course household goods and accessories at decent rates and bonus, the furniture is pre-built so your not spending time building the furniture.  

 Totally agree with you, Heather. Just curious though: I don’t have a truck. What do you suggest for bringing home bigger ticket items like furniture?
