I have a unit that is currently occupied and they just renewed their lease for another year, but requested that we have the unit painted. Do I allow the painter vendor into the unit alone while tenants are at work, or do I need to be there on site? Is that safe? I am worried about the painter stealing or having the tenants accuse the painter of stealing, etc.
