Hey Derek, I am based in Ann Arbor and a healthy 45 minute commute to Downtown Detroit (Corktown). Where are you based?

Hi BP! I am Chris, originally from Sydney, Australia, and moved to the US not too long ago.

Why Join BP?

  1. Align interests with my investing strategy
  2. Meet new people in this new country I find myself now calling home (I am sure my partner will also appreciate me not bugging her during this pandemic)

I've always had an interest in real estate, and now that I have a stable base (not changing countries every year), I am excited to sink my teeth in.

I plan to invest in buy & hold multifamily (4 units+). Currently, I am consuming everything I can around multifamily properties, and I have started to focus on the BRRR strategy.

Day-To-Day I help build the technological infrastructure to help cars drive themselves, so if you ever want to ask questions about how autonomous vehicles will shape the future of cities, I am right in the middle of that stuff.

I am looking forward to meeting/talking/discussing and being a member of this community
