Play the incredible game that helps train your brain to think like an investor and stop thinking like a spender.
Bring your calculator and a pencil. The best advice I can give you is to bring a good eraser! (Actually and metaphorically speaking.) You're going to be erasing your budget and re-writing your budget a lot. You're going to be doing it so much that your brain is going to learn this, too, for real life.

*We encourage all attendees to purchase pizza, salad or drinks at some point during the evening. Thank you.

NOTE: Please pre-register online prior to the meetings. This helps us track attendance and plan for future meetings. Thank you!!

The first half hour is general Q&A; bring your rental property related questions or problems for some free advice. The topic in the last hour will change every month.

NOTE: Please pre-register online prior to the meetings. This helps us track attendance and plan for future meetings. Thank you!!

Meetings are usually held the 2nd Thursday of every month. Hosted by Janel Page and Tom Stutzman. Topics vary each month from general, deal-making discussions - to presentations on various topics - to field trips. We also encourage networking. Meeting agendas (except field trips) generally include:

  • Networking
  • Introductions
  • Feature Topic (approx. 1 hour)
  • Q&A or General Discussion
  • Networking

When you see this more general meeting description (instead of a particular topic or presenter), our meeting will likely focus more on networking and open forum discussion. We do more robust round table introductions, and let people talk about whatever deals they are doing or have recently finished. Sometimes we do deal analysis on those deals. We talk about problems that came up and what investors did to work through those problems.

Folks are also welcome to ask for referrals, talk about deals they're looking for or have, or bring a problem to the group and ask for feedback. We have a lot of great interaction at these meetings, and they've turned into some of our best! It's real people talking about real deals.

We've been having great turnouts for our Salem meetings! We regularly have 30+ people attending. Folks are finding great networking opportunities, and regular attendees are making deals with each other. If you're local to the Salem Metro area and have been on the fence about attending - you should add this to your calendar as a must attend... or you may be missing out on your next great deal!

Professionals and new to experienced investors are all welcome and encouraged to come and participate in the discussion. Come early to get a good seat. Bring your questions and business cards. Networking is encouraged. We hope to see you there!

Meeting is located at Salem First Baptist Church, Room 422, 395 Marion St NE, Salem OR Map it. Church parking lot is at the corner of Union and Liberty Streets.

Food is not available at our meeting location, but folks are welcome to bring a drink or snack.

NOTE: Please pre-register online via the Calendar of Events prior to the meetings. This helps us track attendance and plan for future meetings. Thank you!!

The Art, Practice and Process of Successful Goal Setting

It's that time of the year when we reflect on the year gone by, marvel at how fast it went, and all too often, despair of the goals we set that didn't materialize. The stark reality is that only less than 10% of people who set goals successfully achieve them.

In this session of Financial Freedom we take a deep dive into the process of goal setting using a process that greatly increases the chances of achieving the goal. The team discuss their goal setting/achievement process; what works for us, what doesn't. We reveal the goal setting mind set that has worked for us for many years.

We will then do a brief goal setting workshop in which attendees will have an opportunity to apply this unique approach to setting one of their 2020 goals.

2020 promises to be an interesting year, full of surprises, uncertainty and volatility. Don't miss this opportunity to add to your toolbox of success skills and increase your odds of making 2020 your best year ever.

2020 topics:
Goal setting, Tax, Finance, Insurance, Mortgage, Business set up, Filed trip, Partnership , Deal analysis
and more
