About Joe Homs:

Joe is a full time real estate professional with over Forty years of experience, buying and selling real estate for himself and his clients. Joe is a self described “work-a-holic” and a very skillful negotiator. He holds a degree in business administration and prides himself on being a very honest and ethical person.

Joe began his real estate career by purchasing his first home at the age of twenty and then his first investment at twenty-two. He was taught the real estate business by his father/mentor who used to drag him out to fix and flip projects in the early 1970’s. Joe currently has many buy and hold that he acquired over the past forty years and now mainly flips homes with his Daughter and son-in-law.

Joe began flipping homes again seven years ago after his son-in-law asked him to teach him the business. As Joe learned from his father they actually started onsite with the rehab so that he could learn the business from the ground up. Joe and Ryan were able to complete 90% of the rehab and only hired out 10% of the jobs. They completed four rehabs and now his son-in-law is in charge of handling the contractors. His daughter is the design expert and handles the sale of the homes.

Joe now has free time to pass along his knowledge to others and does so by group and "one on one" training. He hosts his own local meet-up group in Orange County https://www.meetup.com/Orange-County-Real-Estate-Investor-Networking/.

Two Day Event to educate and give women the resources to achieve financial freedom through real estate.

About this Event

Communities are not produced by sentiment or mere goodwill. They grow out of a shared struggle… — Larry Harvey

Women, want to learn to take control of your financial future with real estate investing? Do you feel lost? Are you struggling? Don’t know where to start? I mean women should be able to do well in real estate, right? Let's face it, we are living in a time of tremendous uncertainty.Let's acknowledge the roller coaster of emotions that we've been on. The new stresses we are under. And the season of change we are in.

That's why WREN has re-branded our Ignite event to "Ignite the UN-conference." As the term suggests this UN-conferences is intended to escape the static format of traditional conferences. What does that mean? We are going to meet women where you're at. Not following the "norm" of virtual conference delivery. Yep, that's more us.

Ignite the UN-Conference is an opportunity to get in touch with the forces inside you that can help you to break through any limit and create the quality of life that you desire and deserve. Let's get in a good space…then deliver business resources. It's only when we are in a grounded space that we can move forward with speed and ease in our businesses.

The truth is WREN doesn't do things like everyone else. We have been equipping women to succeed in the male-dominated real estate world for years.

At Ignite we will explore new mediums to better connect! We have engaged Whova, an event technology company, that promises to give us more connectivity before and during Ignite.

Join us in embracing the rhythms that move us forward at "Ignite the Un-Conference" October 10-11. Oh, and have some fun at the same time.

Here is what you can expect at Ignite the Un-Conference:

  • Start our days with meditation and movement
  • Reconnect with your power centers: body, mind & spirit
  • Relaxed schedule with large breaks for resting or networking
  • Amazing, wonderful & applicable Real Estate business education (this is not a pitch-a-thon)

4 Steps to help you Thrive (not just survive) in Uncertain Times

* Why Cash is King (and how to get some)
* How to Protect Yourself & Your Money.
* Why Now is a great time to cultivate an Attitude of Abundance
* How to position yourself in Recession Resilient Real Estate Strategies

More about Deborah:

Always an independent spirit, Deborah started her first business in 1990. After owning several businesses, she realized in 2009 that her path to financial freedom was through real estate investing and her personal mission to teach others who seek growth and want to live life fully!

In addition to her degree from UCLA , Deborah expanded her investing education with a series of intensive workshops. It felt like a natural transition to shift gears from her design firm to a booming rehab and development business.

After a several years as an investor she craved to hang around some rock star real estate women. She decided to invite a few full time real estate investor women to brunch. Everyone had such a great time sharing knowledge and resources that the meetings continued. They were flippers, buy and hold investors, note investors, lenders. We’ve been meeting ever since and expanding to educating other women on how to be successful in this business.

Her greatest joy comes from hearing the stories of how this community is helping each other succeed. People finding financial “friends” or sharing resources to help each other out, but most of all hearing the testimonials of young women who now have other role models they can identify with, look up to and reach out to for support.
