Any wholesalers or rehabbers in the Detroit area? I will be there this weekend (Dec. 6-8)and wanted to meet up with a few people to get a better understanding of the market.

After doing more research, I’ve heard a few people talk about seller financing when purchasing homes. Has anyone been successful with this method? How did you go about finding sellers willing to finance the property?

I think I'm finally ready to overcome my fears and purchase my first property. I've read books, listened to a ton of podcasts, talked to other RE investors and have been following along the many different journeys mentioned on this forum. There is a tax auction coming up in July in Atlanta and I'm wondering if this is the right place for me to purchase my first BRRRR property or should I take the more traditional approach to start.
