hello I was looking on Zillow to analyze deals and I found a foreclosure so I looked it up on the county recorders just to practice since I'm just starting out and it says taxpayer is REVERSE MORTGAGE SOLUTIONS INC in Texas what is a reverse mortgage? is this a lien? or does this mean it is being rented out I haven't drove by the property I will tomorrow morning just wondering if any one knows anything about this. 

@Kaleb Madsen thank you for the reply do you or anyone know more about ADU I dont have a lot of cash up front to start and honesty don't know a lot about putting in a unit on the lot but if the numbers work I would love to learn

@Sherief Elbassuoni oh thank you I’m mostly just looking into house hacking a multi family but I’m also living with roommates right now so I’m not opposed to that just in a property I own myself

im looking to get in the game here in the Kitsap, Bremerton, Silverdale area within the year, is anyone having any luck on retal proprties i really want to start with multifamily house hacking but just don't know where to start finding a cash flowing property in this area any body have any tips in tricks for finding deals (I know this is what everyone ask), are you finding more off market deals and if you are how are you finding them in this area? thank you

so im trying to get into real estate i want to buy my moms house for the price of the mortgage of  $70,000 but sells for around $135,000 my dad is out of the picture and we are not on talking terms and we want to get his name off the deed and payments while setting this house up as a rental i used the calculator on biggerpockets it seems with rent rates i won't cash flow but thats ok im just looking to start my buy and hold career. my mom recently got solar panels if i buy the house would that be a lien i am responsible to pay up front is there another way to transfer title then i can just refinance under my name and take over the loan? im looking for my important next step who should i talk to to figure this out, i appreciate everyone's time and efforts. 

@Collin Corrinton I do want to slowly rehab I’m getting out of the navy for college then joining the air force but going to university of Texas at San Antonio

Im new to investing and was looking around and got overwhelmed with everything im stationed in Washington state looking to invest in multifamily homes in the san antonio area i would like to live in one side and rent out the other till i'm done with school just wondering what are the areas/zip codes/ streets i should be looking into and which ones should i be avoiding i haven't been to san antonio in 5 years and even then it was for downtown so i don't really know the area that well.
