I've bought my first home to be flipped and I'm having trouble finding insurance companies that will offer a policy for vacant homes that includes water damage.  If anyone has leads on some contacts for me to try out here in Colorado, please let me know.

I was looking into starting an LLC for my first set of fix and flips, when someone mentioned using a Series LLC. Based on what I've read, it's a Parent/Child kind of structure.

Has anyone been operating under a Series LLC that can share their experience and recommend someone to help me get something set up.

Looking for some tips and advice for my first out of STR state real estate investment. Finding that ideal location is one thing, but finding that trustworthy person or company to look after the property is a different story. What have people had success with?

Thanks, good info. I'm looking into STR, hacking won't work unless I start charging my wife and kids. :)

Chad,

I might try picking something up via wholesale. The other idea is maybe STR? Decided to go Pro and give it 30 days.

Having lived in Colorado for 20 years, I've seen this place explode!  I was lucky enough to pick up some townhouses 10 years but didn't have the vision to continue purchasing rentals.  It now seems almost impossible to find a deal that works here in Denver or even Colorado for that matter.  So I'm wondering, what is a good method to find where the next hot spot will be?  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.  Also thinking of going pro membership, is that worth it?
