I really enjoy the advice this post gives. As someone who is young and wants to get out of the 9-5 rat race, what else may you recommend? Should I try and network with possible real estate agents I know (if that helps)?

You are the only person that can make you successful and it won't happen without intense focus and strong goals.

One of the biggest mistakes I made (and still made) is shiny-object syndrome. Every podcast I listened to, I wanted to do what they did. Instead, I'd be much further along if I had just focused on one or two things and became an expert in them.

Thank you for this. I'm constantly reading as well to gain understanding. I noticed you are an agent so let me specific on the following question. As someone looking to invest in real estate, do you think it would be more helpful to me to seek a broker's license?

Would someone mind offering advice to someone 24 years old who is interested in investing in real estate but doesn't know how to...I have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad which is about the only "experience" I have in real estate but some structured advice would be helpful.
