For myself, I'm looking at starting small.   Less than $1 mm.  The company I work for has a capacity to invest in properties anywhere from $5-$100 mm.

I am a lawyer that currently works for a real estate development firm in Manhattan.  I've been with the firm for 5 years.  Interested in development and investment opportunities for my firm in the New York area.  Also, interested in beginning to get involved in real estate opportunities on my own.  Specifically, I'm interested in small multi-family opportunities.  I look forward to meeting the BiggerPockets community.  Thanks
