I'm starting my hunt for "just the right fit," tax professional and/or CPA for my newly established real estate investing business and was seeking recommendations or advice?  Thank you for your time.

Thank you all for responding.  Hey Jason, so I see your in the portage area.  I'm currently residing in the Sauk County area right now working for an investor maintaining a property.  The owner is retiring and has begun selling her properties, or at least down sizing.  She has agreed to "mentor" me, but she is so busy I never see her.  I want to get the most out of this opportunity while I learn the trade.  Do you have any suggestions what I could do to spend more time with someone with so much experience giving the fact I see her once a month? Secondly, I want my first rental property to be a duplex.  i definitely would consider a rental property a little bigger, but that would require private investors.  My instincts are telling me to start out small until I have a better feel for how things work.  It's  not that I don't think I couldn't handle it, I just like to have my research/homework done before hand so I know  exactly what I'm talking about.   Just wondering how you feel about that approach?  Also, let's say I come up short with my lender on a good deal, what's the best way to go about financing my first property?  Thank you for time.  Respectfully, Christopher

What's your opinion on starting my real estate investing with a duplex, triplex, or quadplex?  I would like to the location to a suburb of  Madison, or at least a surrounding city.  Although my research tells suburbs of Milwaukee has a better Market, the area I'm most familiar with is Dane, Sauk, and Juneau county.  Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks for your time.
