Jared,

Thank you. Yes you got all the details correct.

The first and only lender offered $1mil as a refinance cash out so down payment would be around 30% on the 1.75Mil.

I will PM you as well.

Clarissa

Hello I am new here and plan to learn.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with resolving our current situation. We have a home that is worth 1.2 mil  equity (650k) , mortgage loan (550K) and want to buy our second property worth 1.75mil. We have A credit and decent income. It was suggested to us to do payoff the current loan  and combine the two mortgages in one. Ideally, we wanted to keep our current home and rent it for 5K,

Unfortunately, our lender only qualified us for $1 mil for both homes and suggesting to sell our first home. We want to keep the first home to rent and buy a second home.

Do you have any other suggestions? I know people do this all the time with less credit and income.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Clarissa
