I’m looking to do my first deal. I have made friends with a local real estate agent that is giving me a ton of side work and is very helpful and supportive of me becoming an investor. I hear all y’all talk about working on raising capital, so my question is, what does that look like and where do I start?

Thanks that would be great. If I do get a fixer upper I probably will do most of the work myself, since that’s the line of work I’m in. Anything else that you might think of that could help me, then just let me know. The BP podcast have been a wealth of information so far.

Currently I have one three bedroom home that was left to me. I make decent cash flow off of it because it is paid for. I’m looking for advice on my next step in acquiring another rental. I wanna do all the stuff y’all talk about! Should I look for cheap run down houses that need fixing up or should I try to go for a little more expensive house with better rent and try to work my way up from there?
