@Matt Leber did you buy as an LLC or under your own name? I'm looking at finance options. How's Orlando market doing in all this?

I'm operating in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, and I'm considering purchasing property for section 8 rental. I did a forum search, and some of the Section 8 questions were a few years old, so I would refresh it. In our current market, do you think S8 is a good idea, why or why not? I'm new to the investment business, so any insight is always appreciated. Thank you.

Post: So what's holding you back?

I don't have the 10% to put down that most lenders require, and I don't have reliable contractors yet. I have the experience in valuation, i know my market very well, my wife is a project manager by trade that did home renovations. I could turn and burn properties quickly, but those are my two biggest weaknesses right now.
