Hello I need some insight on how the market is working right now in Rochester NY. I am a new investor and I’m trying to figure out how the market works here and what is the best thing to do in my investing strategy.

My goal is to fix up the empty houses around me and possibly rent them out or wholesale them to other investors who have my same vision.

If prices of homes have been going down in value is that a good or bad thing? Does that mean that it’s a buyers market?
