@James Wise yea that's pretty reasonable. I've lived in apartment complexes my whole life and last summer I got to actually build a house. Was super fun to see the blueprints and build the house. It ended up being a 3 bedroom 2 bath with an unfinished basement. (so the taxes would be lower) I'm reading a book by David Greene about the "brrrr" method. And the "rehab" stage is where I'm at. That looks super fun, to imagine what the house could be. Taking a mediocre house and fixing it to be an amazing place for a specific person/family.

@James Wise I play to just work for a real estate company first, I ideally want to invest but I plan to "test the waters first" and see if I like it. It seems really fun and interesting

I really don't want to drop out of college, I'm doing welding but I'm having a lot of trouble doing open butt roots on 6010, I've broken out on all but one test so my grade is horrible. However, I really like real estate, I worked construction to pay for my car and I've always lived in an apartment (18 years old btw) so I can see a positive in every home. What are your guys experience with real estate? I do want to have my own company doing real estate, but I thinking working for a company first to learn the ropes should be my first step. Do you think this is a good idea? I do plan to enrol next semester, but that's like 5 months away, might as well look at other skills during that time.
