@Christopher Lane sounds like she’s just not educated. I was raised with an investor mindset but my husband was not, therefore he does not understand it (much like your wife). Personally , I would maybe invest in one property to show her how it can work, then buy more properties later on. If she isn’t willing to do that then buy her some books on investing make make her read them. She needs to be educated by someone other than you.

Is there somebody who can help me calculate a good rental property? I’ve uses the calculators and formulas from this site, but after calculating over 10 “bad” properties I feel like the problem may be me instead 😐
