@Andrew Postell- Thank you so much for this input! I didn't even think about it. I know they will finance a mobile home that will be your primary residence but It's been moved they won't even do that. So that makes the pool of potential buyers so much smaller. So I guess as an investment, I am looking at a place that would be more of a rental unit then something to sell later on. Do you know if they will let me refinance it? Would I be able to pull money out after I rehab the mobile unit?

Hey,

Looking to buy a property together with my in-laws in AZ (close to Prescott area), so to allow us to get into the market this way. Wanted to add value to the property eventually with another unit but first looking at large lots (with the right zoning for all of this) with a manufactured home that needs a little rehab. I was thinking of adding a room as one way of adding value.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with adding a room to a manufacture home, cost, how it went, things to look out for, was a regular contractor ok?

looking forward to some answers.

I would love to talk to someone who has been doing development of raw land in South America towards creating vacation rentals. I am a mom to two kids, a performing and teaching artist connected to native culture of Brazil. I am interested in creating a sustainable development of land in the North East of Brazil as an investment for myself, but also as a way of protecting these territories from aggressive other foreign companies who are coming in just wanting to turn a profit at any environmental and social cost. This both an investment project but also a social justice and environmental justice endeavor. I would love to hear other people's experiences related to similar projects and ideas.
