HI Kevin, I am not planning on managing the property myself. Do you know what Outerbanks PM looks like? I saw a quote online of between 30-40%. Does that sound right to you? It also looks like a lot of the homes for sale may already come furnished which is a good thing but of course Id need to get clarity on that. Thanks so much for you reply!

Anyone invest in beach rental properties? Looking to possibly purchase a house in the outerbanks NC and would like to connect to someone who has a some experience with these types of rentals. I mostly have questions surrounding expenses over and above mortgage, taxes, and insurance. I’d like to know the good, bad and ugly involved. Also would like to understand the key contacts I’ll need to keep handy with this type of business model. Any advise appreciated!!!!

Anyone familiar with the most current eviction rules for North Carolina? I know the moratorium was in place through June 20 but haven’t heard or seen any updates on whether that’s been extended and, if so, to whom.

I have tenants that have still not paid rent and they are now not communicating with me as I’m reaching out. I’m definitely not looking to evict at this point I just want to understand the current rules so I know my options. Can’t seem to find anything definitive online.

I closed on a property right before the country shut down. I’m really not getting any prospects. I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on how I can entice tenants during a time like this (without lowering rent price as my first option)?
