@Lynnette E. if you have done your due diligence on the front end, what else can you do to protect yourself if you don’t qualify for the innocent landowner defenses you mentioned?

Hopefully he did his due diligence and was able to fall under the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act.

@Brent Shields What a nightmare! Thanks for your post. I would be curious to know what your friend would have done in retrospect in the prospecting process to avoid a situation such as this.
