Greetings all.

My name is Dan. I live in Rockingham County, NC and I'm looking for preferably a local mentor to help me get started in Real Estate investing.

I'm a little late to this game I'm sorry to say. I'm 39 and my wife and I have decided to get serious about our finances and long term future.

We are not looking for get rich quick, but long term rental strategy to buy and hold to slowly replace my wives income. I enjoy my career as a pastor and see it as my calling, but we want a more flexible life long term for our two young boys. We are wiling to take the long view, be patient, learn a new skill set, and most of all work hard. I've always found the best way to learn is from the experienced. So...have no idea where this will go, if anywhere. But hoping to make connections or maybe some can refer me to a good source.

Thanks.
