I'm looking for a good real estate attorney in Ogden.  Can anyone recommend one?  I don't need an attorney yet, but better to be prepared.

I'm starting my BRRRR in North Ogden. Older, smaller homes in commuting distance to the university. In the middle of my first deal, I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll speak with a remediation tech, and then bring my info to the seller. Who knows, I may get the house for a song, then bulldoze.

Read through this thread and very interesting. I’m looking at a potential meth remediation now. I’m talking with the remediation tech tomorrow. The house tested 2.1 per 100 centimeters. What did the house you look at test?

I have the opportunity to buy a house that tested positive for meth in an inspection. Does anyone have any experience with a house like this? I will have it cleaned and certified professionally. Will this affect future rents? Any other concerns I should look out for?

Good point.  What about turnover or apartment damage?

I am going to start renting a house by the room.  As a first-time landlord, would it be better to rent the house as females only or males only?  The house is in a strongly religious area, thus the gender separation.
