Post: Using Zillow messanger to contact FRBO listings

I’m a new property manager and I’m trying to get my first clients.

The way I’m thinking is to use Zillow and message all the for rent by owner listings using their built in messenger. The reason I want to use the messanger is because most numbers from landlords are showing up on the Do Not Call Registry. Is this allowed on Zillows platform or would they ban my account? Are there any other ideas on how I could use Zillow FRBO listings to convert to warm leads?

Thank you guys!

But it sounds like you're on-track to get some great experience in the field before diving in yourself; something that is handy for realtor companies that may help your chances is by becoming a Notary. Easy to do and requires a much smaller fiscal amount to get started if you can't quite take the realtor classes at the moment. Something to consider as you build up your value!
In the meantime, join local investor groups on facebook and start connecting with other local players on here, too.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the reply, I will definitely research becoming a Notary to expand my bag of tools!

Talk to us a little more about the job you are looking for and why?  The active investors on BP are always hiring if the right talent comes along.

Happy to connect to see how we can help!

I'm pretty flexible on my entry level job, some sort of investment analyst will likely be my strong suit. I am good with numbers and understand investment concepts. Most importantly I'm willing and eager to learn what it takes to get to the next leagues.

If you have any suggestions on what type of entry level jobs I could look for, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, my name is Danny and I’m a 23 year old aspiring real estate investor, I’m from Naperville, Illinois and just graduated college with a finance degree.

I first became interested in real estate investing 3-4 years ago when my brother first started buying properties, but only became consistently studying it that past few months and totally fell in love. I feel I have a good understanding of the basics but learning more every day. I have a background in stocks/foreign exchange/cryptos and everything I’ve learned from business school.

I’m here at BiggerPockets because I feel the community and resources available here is unmatched. Id love to meet some people to talk to about real estate because I can only bug my friends for so long haha.

As of right now i am currently looking for a full time, entry level real estate analyst job, working a great part time job which I will keep as a side hustle, and looking for my first property with saved up money.

Feel free to PM me if you want to chat, I have tons of questions and always looking to learn something!
