I was wondering if anyone has insight on the general timeline it takes to close for a cash out refinance? I'm located in New Jersey and just filled out the application and locked a rate for a cash out refi for my primary residence last week. My loan officer with TD Bank told me to expect the process to take 75-90 days to close which seems a little absurd to me. Just curious what others are seeing or if there is any way I can speed the process up? I submitted all the statements and documents that the bank requested immediately during my application, and doesn't seem like I can do anything but wait and call the loan officer every couple days.
