Hi Ashley! We actually just used a list serve for all facilities within 3 hours of Dallas that were not institutionally owned. Then I cold-called them!

Post: Ideas to Find Self-Storage Leads

Hi Gents, somehow I never got the notification anyone ever responded to this haha.  Thanks for responding!  My partner and I closed one deal 2 weeks ago and are closing 2 in the next 2 weeks.  We are TX-based but will probably branch out in the next few years.  Where do you all operate?

Hi Folks, my name is D'Ann, and I'm new to REI. I've been in the education phase for the last 4 months, and am looking at moving into the self-storage niche with a partner who has already purchased one & is looking for more. I live in DFW, and I would be looking at more rural privately owned facilities with room for forced equity, though naturally I wouldn't be opposed to a great urban deal. Anyone found any best practices on sourcing leads for privately-owned self storage? Let me know!

Thanks!
