@Margaret Connor, I am an investor in tax liens and deeds. You need to be careful, as a lien holder you do not have any rights in the property until the redemption period is up and you have done a Quiet Title foreclosure. If you approach the resident and they are a renter they will not know anything about the lien, if you approach and it is the owner they may become hostile so take someone with you.
