Hi @Keela, I agree with the other advice regarding looking for a new broker who better understands an 'investor' perspective.

I had the same problem when I started and found that having a broker not on the same page led to false starts, miscommunications and overall disconnects. I went through 2 before I started changing my approach -- I started talking to other investors who were also brokers, much like you are with this post :) Working with them also opened my eyes to the many advantages of getting licensed myself, the most important being the control that it provides. A lot less worry about disconnects when I am representing myself. But if that's not an option, talking with other investors in your area and seeking referrals for such brokers would be the next best thing in my opinion.

Best of luck!

Whenever I have the chance! They are fantastic. I've also listened to several episodes more than once when the nuggets of info pile up. I have also appreciated the show notes as a quick reference to topics and materials discussed during the podcasts and sources of additional info.

Regarding the length, the benefits of a podcast is that they are recorded and with that comes user flexibility -- listen all the way through, pause when needed and come back when time permits, go back and listen again, etc. I think you guys have done a great job of balancing time vs concentration of content along with presentation. I agree with Ben Skove about not being afraid to go long(er) when the topic, material and discussion drive it that way

Thank you guys for all the work that goes into producing the show. It certainly augments the BP community in a significant way.

Thanks for the hospitality, I'm very excited to be a part of this! Keywords set!

We've completed 1 successful rehab and have 2 pretty extensive works in progress. One of them is an 1870 farmhouse with an original stone wall basement still in great condition that is screaming to become a wine cellar :)

In addition to these projects, we are currently focussing on building a portfolio of rental properties (SF & MF) and are working on a bid for a 4unit that should cash flow nicely once we can stabilize it.

Hi all, new BP member here from Chicago, IL! I've been investing in real estate for about a year now (rehabs and rentals) and really wish I would have found this site sooner - so much knowledge and information! Looking forward to being a part of the community, networking and contributing in any way I can
