Greetings, Can anyone share some different strategies with acquiring off market deals? Are they only for cash buyers? It seems that majority of the off market deal requires cash to purchase.

@Kase Knochenhauer yes, sellers seems to be working with me on this deal. I believe it should be fine.

If my offer was accepted but the home inspection came back not so good, Should I renegotiate a lower offer price? Negotiate concessions that I'm happy with? or simply just walk away? What do you guys think?

will do, Thank you.

@Davidson Francois shop insurance and appeal tax rate. This happens. Your mortgage payment didn’t change but the insurance and taxes will, especially if they reassess your property every year

i think that is what happened but I'm appealing it now so we'll see what happens. Thank you!

@Davidson Francois I ask about it being new because the first year the home exists the assessed value is based only on the land, not the improvements (the house).  But, after the second year, the house is included too, and the assessed value goes way up.

i am doing this as we speak.i really think its a error! I was already currently shopping around for new home owners before this took place. It was not a new construction but i did purchase it turn-key. Could that be a reason?

@Davidson Francois Doubling is a lot.  You can request an appeal on the value if you think they overvalued the home, and you can shop around for home owner's insurance, but unfortunately, these items do tend to go up over time.  Was the home new construction when you purchased it?
