Warren Buffett who is the greatest investor says he can't even predict what the markets will do in the next month. All you are doing is speculating and hoping to be right. If you are then you'll be telling everyone I told you so and if not you'll make an excuse why your guess is wrong, make a new guess or never mention you were wrong. SMH

Craig James My ideal location would be Anderson but I am educating myself on the market of some surrounding areas. If you have any areas you recommend I'm all ears.

@Craig H.

Congrats on the 5 unit deal. I am looking on the east side starting out because that is where I live and I am the most familiar with. One of my good friends who I am looking at possibly partnering with lives in West Chester. If we end up working together that area could expand up there since he has knowledge of that area. I am looking for A/B neighborhoods with strong school districts.

I appreciate all the info @Linval T. I am going to continue my education through BP and start doing some property analysis to get more comfortable with it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Theo Hicks I'll have to take you up on that at some point and hear how you got started and how your first deal went.

Hey everyone! My name is Chris and I am a new real estate investor from the east side of Cincinnati. I have been on BP for a while now learning as much as possible through the forum and podcast but I didn't post an intro until now. I am interested in building a buy and hold portfolio over time and doing a few flips annually. I hope to network with other investors and maybe even find a mentor in my market. My background and degree are in construction management and I have a ton of valuable resources and contractors that will be huge assets as I get started.
