Thank you. Very good info and encouragement. Since my last post I have become employed and am now looking exclusively at duplexes. Live on one side and renting the other. I am going to use this strategy because it seems to make the most sense. Also have been periodically listening to BP and have gained invaluable insight and ideas. Where there is a will, there is a way. Having a job does help.

I have a bit of capital and would like to get started investing already but without employment, road blocks abound. If you know of anyone who might be in need of a virtual administrative assistant or even someone to chop wood I would be happy to apply.
In the meantime, I would like to partner up with someone who is also in need of a partner with some capital to possibly do a deal or two.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to go about investing without a job. I am a contract worker and don't know when I will land a full time gig but in the meantime I need to do something. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
