Happy Saturday!

Networking is a huge key and I would love to get some feedback in creating an event at a local brewery, local pub, or winery to meet and greet experienced investors, real estate agents, sellers, and buyers, etc. But I’ve never done an event like this before and where I am located events like this are really a thing (that i know of). 

Has anyone done events like this before? If so what are some suggestion or tips to make something like this happen?

I found a 5-plex deal asking price is $899k. However, the owner wants to do a 1031. There are money lenders who are willing to help with this deal but they would want a 25% down. What my question is has anyone done an owner finance down payment? 

If so what are the pros and cons!

My name is Dennis; I recently purchased my first house in Wenatchee, WA. I am looking for a mentor to help me grow and maybe I could bring something to the table as well! My expertise is landscape design! With Wenatchee growing at a fast rate and Microsoft spending $19.3 million to purchase 170 acres of undeveloped land north of Pangborn Memorial Airport (located in East Wenatchee). Not only that but the location of living in a retirement community is a big plus for some folks! There is a lot of potential in this area. I wanted to start whole selling and after I have a better understanding of real estate and rental properties start investing!
